Eff me i stop using shell V power won't pay the price,i sticking with normal unleaded which has just gone up again this weekend to £1.11 ltr diesel is £1.13..It just appears to keep going up a couple pence every few days regardless...people need to act in this Country be like the French,Get your Tractors out and start burning some Tyres...Spoke to my cousin who lives in Canada about a month ago,they are only paying like £1.50 a Gallon..

I got told it was not a good idea to use normal unleaded in the WR1, or is this just spin to get me to spend more dosh

Well i been doing it for sometime now and just add a tub of millers Octane boost every few fill ups so i not paying for V Power everytime.....

I'm kinda glad that I've just swapped cars. Going from the 205 which needed 98 ron petrol @ £1.179 a litre and did about 24mpg to my little 1.1 106 which will do 45mpg on normal unleaded @ £1.109 will hopefully make some kind of financial sense, if not the most boring drive to work, EVER.

All you can do is go flat out the whole way, and don't slow down for the corners!
