Jack, just FYI mate, you can cut a standard SIM card in half and stick it in there without problem.

also, there is a jailbroken iPhone app called MyWi that turns it into a WiFi hotspot, eliminating the need for an iPad with 3G if you've already got an iPhone or the like.

That's the best news I've heard so far, thanks Robb. Mobile data sims had just got easy for me, a change of format would have been a pain. Less plastic, everyone's happy.

I'm fortunate enough to have a copy of NetShare, so even if I can't get a sim I'm fine without the need to jailbreak.

I've got netshare too Jack, unfortunately, you can't create a network from the iPad to connect to with the iPhone/Netshare combo, so it's not going to work I reckon.

I've not had the time to sit and play with settings, but from initial observations, I think we're sunk. I had the same thought off the bat myself.

haha the $hite I FB I like to do on my hidiously undersized low res, poor colour screen on the BB thanks. As for tweeting, thats a rare and very bored occasion

I would consider a tablet device for around the home, just not in the car, train etc. And certainly not at the current pricing. I wonder what the BB version will go for
