Early Z3M's like the above had no traction control

Something like 321BHP/258ftlbs through stupidly wide rear tyres.

The old bill and traffic have ruined speed in this country, so might as well go sideways instead

My best mate hasd just bought a Z4M... straight six with individual throttle bodies with an 8K redline.

They chuck out 343bhp, get it over 4K rpm and it goes absolutely spastic. You would need some serious serious power to pull away from one with any conviction.

In reality, to actually pull away from any car over 350bhp, you need at least another 100bhp more for the same weight. Factor in the 4wd trans loss from the impreza and the scoob doesnt stand a chance. Even with one RWD they still hit 60mph in less than 5 seconds... thats f'kin properly quick!

Tom, try and source some PH2 440 injectors too mate. They flow much better and more efficiently !!! You wouldn't be fitting them for more power but for safety, add to that a 255 fuel pump. Fuel and air mate fuel and air...so get a clean intercooler aswell and a proper induction kit or panel assembly. Any help just ask I am only up the road.

As an aside, the limiting factor being your I/C c.280 bhp for arguments sake. I think you would do well to get hold of a sports cat for the DP and run the rest decat. Save you hassle at MOT time and shouldn't make a great deal of difference to the power figures you want to safely sit between.

Tbh, there's two options...go v.cheap sell fast or invest and keep.

2.1 would be my choice on our STi boxes, revvy little monster and as you say Bomb, or rather Tom proof ...ish
