Throwing money at a car is always a bit of a downer, even more so when the car aint working right. Breaking a car can take time and as you say, could get you into more of a downer. Ive spent a year without my car.... got up about it, then down about it. Now im looking forward to getting it back. Maybe the thing to do is "sorn" it and come back to it when your back in the mood to spend... good luck whichever way you decide to go

That's a really good idea. If you take a sabbatical from it then you might come back with a new found enthusiasm.

you know that shell you have outside H, why dont you do what that guy has done on the vid ive posted on facebook, cut it in half and turned it into a trailer. Looks the dogs. You could have a WMI themed look to it, and the TV could have that brill prodrive video and other bits playing so you could demo on show-meets...?

Drop a front mount on to it, can doe it as much as you like then, VF35 will take a fair bit of battering.

There's always an argument between running or not running a DV, you won't loose as much boost between gears without it although you do stall the turbo not having a DV, if your not bothered about eventually changing the Turbo (which you being BHP crazy would'nt be fussed) then have fun. IMO.

Yeah the only problem now with having the smoothness is that the bangs between gears are gone! I haven't booted it yet, so am yet to see how it feels between gears during abuse, but under normal driving it is much smoother.

So for today atleast.. I will continue to have fun with the noise
