"fitted my FMIC afew days ago and got it mapped..mine chatters like a gudun. Spoke to dave at api about it and he said it was fine. im running a VF28 which cnt really take chatter or stalling but what im getting is fine. It not alot but sounds sweet when you come off the throttle!
mine took me ages!! had to do loads of modding plus i also fitted a cold air feed so had to mod all the piping and was a really tight squeeze."
FMIC can give a louder chatter IMO

Hi Mark. I just searched and found the thread, then did a search of the bloke. Dont get me wrong, I was running valveless (again after checking with David at API and Kev at the clinic) and will be on the new build too. Its ok to do on certain turbo`s apparently. All I was getting at is that you have to be careful what advice you take on chat forums. I wasnt saying if it was right or wrong, but he spent time and money and then broke his engine. Draw your own conclusion.

Any one know if a hks ssqv is quieter than a Bailey dv? Got mine back the other day but it's not mapped yet just drove it home and was told not to boot it but I wanted to hear the dump so just about brought it on boost about 3k revs and it seemed really quiet I know this is probably cuz it was hardly boostin anything... Anyone had a Bailey and a hks???

Dropped in a Cosworth air filter yesterday to replace my oe one then Fitted an HRC fuel pump.
It wasn't as hard a job as I first thought, was a bit fiddly but once I figured out how the back seats came out it was plain sailing.
