I wont be in my car for the TR unfortunately as I've just found out my wheel bearing is just starting to let go and with saving up for having my coilovers fitted its just not a brilliant idea but I will be jumping in with Andy (lagamorph) who has the same coilovers as I've just bought.

Hi all....
Got a problem if anybody can help please...
my sti bug has a tapping sound (sounds like a dry tappit) @ 2000, gets less as you accelerate, stops around 4000, after driving for about 6 or 7 mins the tapping sound has totally gone, and she sounds sweet.
to me it is as if the oil pump isnt working properly from cold, Any ideas anybody? also worried im causing damage to the cams,

. You say it disappears at higher revs, could it be something daft like a heat shield on the exhaust?
