H,i originally said about the heritage centre as i had such a great day yesterday at the Supercar Show,it wasn't meant as a new meeting place just a great show for west mids to attend as i would think it would be a fantastic oppurtunity to show off our cars and the club, great oppurtunity to collect for your chosen charity also

huge thanks to spencer at MVS. after some rather spirited driving on saturday night i had a sticky caliper on the front. so fearing the worst in booked the car in yesterday for today, car collected (he lives 10 minutes down the road from me) and returned at 6.30 all fixed, and even fitted my foglight bulbs for me (i am so lazy) . top bloke and top company.

Just got an oil and air filter from Subaru (because I need them this afternoon and I'm not organised enough), so whilst I was there, just out of interest I got a price for a pollen filter... nearly £60! I nearly fell over!

Yeah, if I was more organised I'd have got the lot off H. Kinda needed them there and then. I removed my pollen one the other day and knocked all the rubbish out and put it back...
Yep, can't see me getting rid of it any time soon, mostly because no bugger would want it in the state it's in :/
About to drive it to Belgium this weekend, so that should be interesting...

Spoke to harvey smith today about porting headers as im woried about the lag i may get with the 20g. he qouted me £381 and exchange for my headers/manifold. very helpful guy and very reasonable labour charges but i would like to know who else offers this service to keep my options open. so any ideas folks?

I've got the Harvey Smith ported manifold and his uppipe. Well well worth it mate, had them since my WRX and put them on the STi when I bought it. I more than felt the difference in response etc.
I think the combo of his manifold and up pipe is the better side of response you can get with the 20G. However the stainless manifolds would probably net more top end at the sacrifice of low end response. But again.. stainless manifolds with one of Harveys specific uppipes are great too.
He knows his stuff when it comes to response, so I would be inclined to listen to his opinion on your mods.

Oh yeah I don't doubt what he says but I'm just wondering if there's a cheaper alternative lol as I was surprised how much it is but if no viable alternative is found ill definitely be ordering one as I don't want to lose any of the sound or sacrifice spool up time. Just not sure if to ditch my sports cat either after speaking to him only trouble is I can't afford both without putting the rest of the mods off for a month or two

Awesome. Yeah I can see the issue. I've been considering upgrading but everything's so expensive
