turning out to be a right palava big F. flux have quoted me 1500 with the mods. went into A plan on friday. turns out because i had a focus st170 that was stolen within 6mths they wont cover me. even though i closed the claim down because i wanted to keep scooby insurance lower. turns out even though i never got a payment its still claimed as a loss on the MIDB system. thing is they only phoned me back this morning to tell me. also a porsche cayenne turbo s, focus st, previous subarus i have had isnt enough of a performance car record apparently
A plan said they couldnt beat fluxes price anyway. so its back to flux but now ive got to tell them about my loss within 6 mths lol.
on a lighter note ive bought sum tasty mods today with my insurance deposit lol

Dear Fellow Member
We are now well into our 3rd year as the UK's ONLY charity based Subaru club and growing at an amazing rate thanks to the efforts of all our members in promoting our club to the Subaru community.
Over the last few months following some very successful meets and some great fundraising by our members I am proud to announce we have now raised £1000 for our current charity, Heartlands Hospital Neo-natal Intensive care unit. As many of you may be aware my son Kain was born at Heartlands on 27th January this year 7 weeks premature, he was suffering from breathing problems and required several weeks of intensive care in the neo-natal unit. The care and devotion shown by the staff towards Kain at the unit was amazing during such a difficult time. These people work in a very demanding enviroment and provide an outstanding service under very difficult conditions only to be faced with ward closures due to lack of funding. Hopefully the £1000 raised by our members will go some way to easing the financial burden on such a essential service, after talks with the unit it has been decided that our funds will be used to buy a breast pump which will bear a plaque to commemorate our donation. This will help new mum's to feed their babies who would be unable to survive without the essential first milk from their mothers and are simply too small and weak to breastfeed.
Kain will be presenting a cheque to the unit sometime in the next few weeks, pictures of which will be out up on facebook and our website.
Following this I'm pleased to announce we will now be raising funds for The Midlands Air Ambulance, a charity that receives no public money and is run purely by volunteers and paid for by charitable contributions. Details of work they do can be found at
http://www.midlandsairambulance.com/index.php
I look forward to seeing you all at the next meet on Sunday 30th October (venue details to be confirmed).
Best regards

Thats good news H. Well done mate.
The Air Ambulance have regular stands at shows and fetes so perhaps if they have something on we could have a meet there?
I use them regularly on a professional basis through motorsport and they're top dude's and dudette's.

Would be ace if we could get some sort of TV coverage for our fundraising efforts for the air ambulance not only would it raise the profile of the club it may also change peoples outlooks on impreza drivers too
