I say 400 as it's a nice round figure but I wouldn't be bothered if I only hit 380 break as long as the car drives how I want it to, I want it to get on boost nice and early and hold the power till the redline. The parts I will be buying will be 400bhp capable, and my car is mainly a fast road car although next year I would like to do a little track time depending how things come along with the styling side that I am going to be doing too as I don't want to be putting a freshly sprayed car on track.
The other thing I want to know is at what power level should I look at upgrading my brembos?

i'd personally update brakes before a map altogether - I found the standard STI setup is good for 320ish, any more an they struggle, I had mine glowing which wasn't good at all - as they went applying.
Not sure what to use though - H supplied all my stuff

not at all mate I say 400 as everything I plan on buying will be 400 capable but if my engine only manages 380 safely then that's fine, I definitely don't want to over stress the engine and end up rebuilding it a couple of months after spending shed loads of cash to get a good spec. I have a friend of a friend that might be able to get me some pro r alcon 6 pots cheap or better than cheap so I will see what he comes up with before I definitely decide as it doesn't really matter if the brakes are left till a week before it's due back on the road as it won't be used until it's ready, it may get a little trip round the block here and there but nothing that would require any heavy braking anyway
