That's because they buy ebay specials. I had a Borla set on mine with no issues. Sounded great, added a bit of power but nothing amazing. But you'll never gain much on a Sport, but the sound is worth it.

Exactly what I was about to say, borlas aren't cheap but you get what you pay for. James B from Warwick (now rugby) used to have a sport with borla manifold and afterburner vortex and it sounded as good as any turbo exhaust system I'd heard (except my blitz ;-) )

I remember James! I had my Borla before him lol infact I think I was one of the first, well on Imprezasport.net anyways. Worthwhile mod for sure. Having the rumble is nice not just for performance but when pootling around town. I would definitely recommend it as a mod.

Yeah I know James, does he still have the RB5?

It's an option but handling is my first port of call. I'm never going to get mega power out of the NA.

proper holiday blues, got back last night from a week in Andorra snowboarding and what an ace week, never had so much fun even with the temp of -17 and a windchill of -32. Was nice to go for a nice drive in the car today though, but back to work tomorrow

Good shout from Paul. Fitting a Borla manifold was by far and away the best mod I did to my old Sport. Combined with a decent cat back exhaust it really sounds spot on.
