That's gutting.

Any plans for the Decat or just leave it that low?

Andy, if that 20g made decent power on another car, there's no reason it shouldn't on yours. I still feel like something must be missing on the mapping or there's a leak, be it exhaust, intercooler or something? I'd get it looked over by another pair of eyes if you can.

Funny enough, just been talking to Finn about Andy,
Andy give me a bell tomorrow, we'll catch up and i'll have a look, im confident i can get more out of yours, 20g may be a bit laggy but once on song it should be pulling hard to redline, it could even be a simple tweak on your AVCS.

I have noticed a small amount of damage from turbo to intercooler hose this morning....... a wire clip actually built into the hose (used to guide onto turbo??) but it doesnt appear to be bad, just the first layer of silicone and i cant detect any leak from it.

Sounds good. Ive dropped andy carr an email with all the graphs, plots etc.. and asked him to check it out again. I am concerned why he didnt notice during mapping though

I dont find it that laggy to be honest, well nothing outrageous now I have got used to it, I put that down to harveys trickery though. Checked out an old chart from its days of being PPP'd and it is actually exactly the same in terms of spool.

Yep, but it's highly likely to do with running staggered fitment wheels, so it's kinda self-inflicted...

As for the decat, only time will tell, it's staying for now is all I can say.

evening all, does anyone have a brake stopper from scoobyworld fitted to their car? matty from pp said that they make a massive difference to pedal feel and effectiveness and for £60ish is worth a try.

just wondered if anyone has any input?

I had a cusco one fitted to my blue sti, which i removed when i sold it, keep meaning to fit it to the spec C and will do when I remember to do it. It made a difference to pedal feel for sure (less spongey), I might not notice a difference on the white one with the ap's but ive got it so may aswell fit it.

cheers H, I've looked into 6 pots but the extra insurance is stupid (almost half the cost of the brakes) so I might as well take a punt with one of these

I've never fully understood why fitting bigger brakes puts your insurance up, surely it makes the car safer? Heard it mentioned that it makes you drive faster though because you think you're safer, which makes sense I guess?
