Wasn't yours an ebay special though? The previous owner had very good gains from this turbo, just cant work out why I'm not?? Bought some headers this morning, 3" exhaust next and maybe front mount....... one last tweek on this turbo and then if its still no good its to become a very expensive door stop.

Andy, if that 20g made decent power on another car, there's no reason it shouldn't on yours. I still feel like something must be missing on the mapping or there's a leak, be it exhaust, intercooler or something? I'd get it looked over by another pair of eyes if you can.

Andy give me a bell tomorrow, we'll catch up and i'll have a look, im confident i can get more out of yours, 20g may be a bit laggy but once on song it should be pulling hard to redline, it could even be a simple tweak on your AVCS.

Funny enough, just been talking to Finn about Andy,

I dont find it that laggy to be honest, well nothing outrageous now I have got used to it, I put that down to harveys trickery though. Checked out an old chart from its days of being PPP'd and it is actually exactly the same in terms of spool.

evening all, does anyone have a brake stopper from scoobyworld fitted to their car? matty from pp said that they make a massive difference to pedal feel and effectiveness and for £60ish is worth a try.
just wondered if anyone has any input?

I had a cusco one fitted to my blue sti, which i removed when i sold it, keep meaning to fit it to the spec C and will do when I remember to do it. It made a difference to pedal feel for sure (less spongey), I might not notice a difference on the white one with the ap's but ive got it so may aswell fit it.

I've never fully understood why fitting bigger brakes puts your insurance up, surely it makes the car safer? Heard it mentioned that it makes you drive faster though because you think you're safer, which makes sense I guess?
