Absolutely not! Tom was querying an oil consumption issue and a bit of exhaust smoke on start up. As a way of looking after a guy, who has paid decent money for a decent car, l decided that we would put a fresh set of rings and bearings in the engine to get him the deal he thought he had.
I didn't want to on cost grounds of course. But he clearly wasn't happy. So we stripped it out, honed the bores to take the glaze off, fitted new rings which gapped perfectly at 12- 13 thou across all four cylinders.
He needs about 600 miles of settling down time for the new rings to take the shape of the bores and he'll be off again.
Got it now ?

Your arrogance/attitude is unbelievable David.
It was actually a compliment for sorting Tom out!

As said above I don't really care what u have or haven't done but Tom was rite in bringing the car bck aswell!!! It was a fukin nail for good money a little smoke is a bit of an exaduration it smoked the street out when I seen it and not just when started I am however glad it's sorted now and can try and enjoy the car eventually!! It's also got a nice standard exhaust on it and no alarm which is nice I've Neva had work done by ur selves so can't comment on how good or not u are but after I seen that car I know I won't buy a car off u but ur reputation hasn't got good for no reason so hopefully that car was just a one off acurance .
Peace out !!!

My point is that he had a problem and we have dealt with it for very little fuss.
No point in slagging off APi until we don't do something.
Ad - I doubt you were ever going to spend money at APi, so no loss really.
End.
