I bet you was glad when you found the source of that... i know what it feels like trying to find the odd knock or rattle and the relief when it turned out to be something silly...

Never happened... IIRC we met up and H's for tea and biscuits, annoyed his neighbours and then parked at MC Donalds.

Loooool
Harry upoload a photo of you and your car to photobucket.com

My rear end has been nothing but trouble! Rear shocks started knocking first so changed them for coilovers then the rear diff started knocking gave it an oil change and the noise has gone for now so when I heard this new noise I feared the worst and was gearing up to replacing the diff the wrong side of crimbo luckily I found the real source massive sigh of relief!
When my rear shocks went I could lift the rear of the car and it would stay up could be worth checking

Then again, maybe staggered fitment wheels aren't good for diffs afterall, or maybe bearings don't like -4 degrees of camber...

I personally run 34 psi in the front, and 36 in the back. This is on 225/45/17s. This was suggested to me by Powerstation for 17s.
I find that it helps the rear be a bit more lively, and the front digs in nicely. Have tried other pressures before but these felt best to me.

bigsyco heads will fit but check the inlet bolt pattern on them 1st.later heads have a diagonal stud pattern where as the older have straight,if that is the case then just change the inlet.hope that helps mate,if you need some heads ive got a pair.

and if the oil return looks slightly different dont worry it can be used, just means that they are legacy heads.they work fine tho, basically heads are the same except the 2 things ive mentioned.as for the block they are all exactly the same except the sti and legacy twin turbo being a bit stronger.a subaru 2.0 turbo from a j reg lagacy to a classic sti are all the same thing, even the twin turbos, its just the inlet bolt pattern on the heads,if you know what your doing its simple.obviously the twin turbo inlets are totally different.if your block has gone on your car use a block from a twin turbo or an sti and put your heads and inlet on.hope this helps,if you have trouble my mate can build subarus with his eyes closed, just give me a shout.

carlh go on ebay, type in sti in the search box, there is a full set of samco hoses for sale brand new but on the bid system, you should be able to get them cheaper than a retailer.also check the suitability 1st before bidding as i dont know much about your car to see if they will be ok.also check what they do go for so you know what to bid upto incase a bidding war starts lol

carlh as for the steel ones thats the hardpipe kit,you can either have a bit from your airfilter to your turbo or you can go all out and go for a full hardpipe kit with a front mount intercooler.
