It's funny how we all have things that we admire and aspire to and then sometimes years later we get there.
I always wanted an active Naim set up and finally some 20 years after I first heard one I have got one.
Now I have this crazy dream of 10 active 135 power amps running the surround system..... LOL, that would be a step too far

Pontificating
BUT if you do, drop me a PM, circumstances may have changed, I might be able to get both the kids a paper round to speed up the cash flow situation, although I'll have to wait a few months for the youngest to start walking

no pic of my set up as it all got sold...wasnt using it enough, but it was some nice arcam equipment. however, my question is to those that have posted av set up pics with no obvious wire runs. there isnt any cable boxing being used, am i right to assume that you guys have dug out runs in the walls? if so, is there a large hole behind the tv for the wires to come out and also behind the amps, sky boxes etc?
i will be decorating the living room this year and want to mount my 42" plasma on the wall and link it invisibly to the yamaha av amp, virgin box, blu ray etc and want to get it right first time and not have to decorate twice. any advice appreciated. thanks.

I did have, before selling as I left work through ill-health and needed liquid funds, according to the 'ex' of course........
Ayre CX-7 CDP
Bow Technologies Wazoo XL Amp
VPI Scout Turntable with Transfiguration Spirit MK3 Cartridge
Trichord Diablo Phono Stage
ART V6 Speakers
Kimber Monacle XL Speaker Cable
Kimber Select I/C (CDP > Amp)
Nordost Vishnu power chords ( CDP & Amp)
Chord Chorus I/C (Phono stage > Amp)
The kit was on a Soundstyle rack and my speakers being floor standers were on granite plinths. I miss it
