Are the haulage/transport companies getting a backhander from the government? Last time prices were this high these companies were all over the news saying they were going to the wall etc, etc. Not a peep now.

It seems only a few months ago we were paying 95p for V-power, I think it was March last year when oil was $40 a barrel, now it's back up at $80

Price increases at the pump don't worry me to much as we know the Scooby engines are not made for low CO2 emissions or mpg.
The cost of road tax £405 annoys me tremendously as its the government using it as another way to tax people, plus the increase in insurance gets my goat as well, as by law you have to have it so the insurance companies almost become a cartel in controlling premiums.

when does the voting start for new party. does anybody vote an who will people vote in as they all lie about everything. what i hate is that they go on about going green an global warming etc yet when they arrive for a interview for eg they pull up in some v8 supercharged car. tax payers fuel too. upsets me to see how the economy is now

Got back from Las Vages last wk and they are paying £1.80 maybe slightly less for a gallon!! They all think thats to deer for fuel. Its no wonder that the yanks all drive about in big V8s all the time.
It is f**king shocking that we pay so much for fuel!

I recon if you care you have the wrong car . I have a second car which does 50mpg all day long. Tank in the scoob last say a month so it could cost £200 to fill it up and i still wouldn't care.
I worked out it was cheaper to buy and insure another car than it was to run the scooby 247. I i get 40p a mile expenses from work. It just covered the RB5 fuel but in my new steed im making 20p

I just travelled 26 miles to fill up with V-Power! LOL.
Had to go to motorway to get some at a lovely bargain price of 128.9 a litre!
Oh thats cheap as chips! the round journey cost me a gallon of it. haha.

But what would you rather be driving?
I to have a ****ty diesel for commuting and if fuel was cheap it would be replaced with another scoob.

we as a nation are paying way too much for fuel ,if it wasnt so sky high then that petrol would last you a month and a half instead of your one month ,everyone can afford to pay the prices but its do you want to pay it when other nations are paying way less

Lucky youve got v power. Our shell garage is out of v power and might have it in on Friday at the earliest. The cashier says there is none in the grangemouth refinery. I had to stick a £10er of tesco 99 in. I have had scoob for 13 month and ive never used anything but v power and ive never had a problem, hope it dosent start now..
