I haven't paid yet, they let me take it without paying as I wasn't best pleased. I do think they should get paid for the work they have done but nothing like the original quoted amount especially if i have to take it elsewhere

I had similar problems when I got my splitter fitted just before christmas, poorly fitted (blatant rush job) and lacquer lifting off under the headlights. On this occasion I picked up and paid in the dark, so wasn't until the next day that I began to see the problems. A few phone calls explaining I wasn't very happy, and I thought it was a rush job, they were apologetic and said they'll sort it. Eventually I got back in and they sorted it. Caused me a total headache and I wont be going back, but they did sort it.

So I say give them a call and speak to them, go back and show them the issues, explain you have friends in the trade who laughed when you showed them their work, and that you frequent a number of highly populated forums who will either hear how rubbish they are, OR great at sorting a problem out !
