Stunning Mate Never sell it Pete! Classic. And people say the 80s was crap. Built proper cars then. I'd take that to the Ford Fair in August, Silverstone! (biggest in Europe) A car like that deserves to be on SHOW

Car looks great Pete and I am glad you have still got it.
I always found my RS500 was a bit like marmite for me and I never really "got" the 3dr thing. I suspect part of that was to do with the fact the RS handled like a bucket of ****e compared to my scoob, but that is a younger car and newer technology I suspect. I'm a bit of a "chav" at heart and always preferred my Escort Cossies over the 3dr. Most of the Cossie boys would shoot me down in flames for saying that, but we are all different I suspect.
Anyway.... since you're an old duffer I suspect it all fits really!
Keep on enjoying her!

Love it! When I was 16 years old a guy pulled up to myself and my friends in a RS500, asking for directions. After we pointed him the right way we asked him to put his foot down, he floored it and I have been in love with these cars ever since. It was brand spanking new aswell!.
I owned one when I was 22 but every last penny of my wages (per year) were spent on insurance and petrol!
Suffice to say my girlfriends didn't stay with me for long LOL!
But who needs a bird when you have one!

Hi Shaun, longtime mate, how's things?? hope all's well etc..
Yes mate, handling quality isn't there best asset but tbh i like that, it's what makes the car and drive more enjoyable to me, knowing that any moment the ****-ens can step out etc..
How's the Spec C ??
A while longer yet Frayz... you ok mate??
Cheers Kev and all for the kind words......

Think it's safe to say Fud was wrong on that one! To be fair though you'd be mad to let her go! Gotta say the wheels suit it to a T. Have you any more plans for her other than keeping her in concourse condition?
