Nathan,, I have put a new thread up on the stoc site under gallery with latest pics,,
Also ran at the pod today, 13.6 @106mph,,
This was with a crappy 2.3 60ft time on the good yr excellence tyres,,
I can get these times down with some toyo 888;s,,
Should be able to run around 13 dead @106 mph, which is brill for a heavy st3 1450kg fwd,, with only a re map, 3" exhaust , induction, intercooler

why would you want a ST on LPG, what bhp will you get and mpg?
why not get a 1.6 Zetec Sport?

Top cars the edtion 30;s

ed30 dsg, terminal speed is correct, manuals have done pretty much identical times at the pod though with same mods. Quickest DSG time at the pod is 12.6 currently. Quickest 2.0TFSI at a random track was 12.2 in a manual car.

Wicked cars,,
The don;t half shift when tuned
My mate has 1 manual,, had trouble with the clutch and had to fit a single mass fly wheel plus uprated fuel pump,, The uprated clutch would not like it when pushed hard above 6k so went back to stock

Hi john,,
More than makes up for it mate
The brakes are much better, Yes the creature comforts are great,
The minamal lag is great, The evo never did anything till 4500rpm,
With the short rs box it wasn;t to bad but with the rubbish ratio gsr box it was a joke,,
5th gear is way too long,,
The cold start was terrible, My mrs now uses it everyday,,
It still needed alot spending on it, rs rear diff, a 5th twin plate clutch, a 5th rs box,
It was turning into a joke really
The steering is not as good as the evo , but not bad by any means,

After he'd been sitting right on my a$$ for 5 mins trying to push me over when I was being held up by traffic myself, I had an ST try and keep up with me this morning round a roundabout and up a dual carriageway. He failed
Made me smile that since I chopped my ST3 and got a 2001 Leon Cupra (air filter, catback and chipped to 210 if I'm lucky and a rear ARB the only mods) worth 2.5k, that I got round a twisty bit faster and pulled away up the dual!!! Only for him to then repeat said sitting on my a$$ when I was following traffic in front again
Should have told him he seriously needs Dreamscience and Eibachs but as he was a ******* stuff him! LMAO

I've been having a few second thouhts about selling the scoob and getting an ST but yesterday I went back out for another test drive. This definately confirmed for me I wanted the change. I had chance to really open one up and drive it hard. I had great fun in it!
I really need to step up my search now, at the same time selling my car too!!

Good man,,
They tune up so well mate,
300bhp is quite easy
The new dreamscience x mod ran at pod sunday and managed 109 mph terminals which is fantastic for little money

I'm confused. What wheels?
Cheers Salsa. I've been keeping an eye out and youre right there is a good choice for £15,000. I've got a mate on the inside at a Ford garage in Cambridge. He's offering me exceptional deals on the cars they have in but I'm just not ready yet. Just gotta sell mine 1st.
The last one he offered me was a 09 ST3 for 15K. Hopefully the right car will be available when i'm ready to buy.
