Here we go then following on a little further

I've polished the throttle body plus the alternator myself, the alternator bracket has been spruced up a little along with a powder coated fan shroud to finish things off.... also colour coded cam belt covers.

I have had my cam belt changed so since it was all coming apart it seemed a rude not to make the most of things

That would take forever I've got some polishing mops that mount onto a bench grinder, you use a series of mops along with polishing compounds... it is a rotten job you get covered but it has great results.

looks wicked mate

when you refitted the manifold, did you replace the spacer/gasket?

I only ask as I'm thinking of doing something similar.

cheers mate

the whole car is sweet mate.

ive had the polishing bug b4 and ive gotta put my forged engine in soon so will be doing something similar and luckily enough ive been moved temporarily in my job from blade maching to guess what blade polishing -lol

the tools we have at work for doing this are awesome, i reckon i could do a mani in 2 hours if i gave it to one of the long time polishers he could probably do it in 1/2 an hour. also gonna port my heads - bonus

Yes new gaskets, if you fit spacers you need 2 set of them.

That sounds good stedee and if it's all apart that's the best time to go for it, if you got the stuff available in work it's a bonus for sure.
