Sold L200 - blew up 2 hours later

It's happened loads on Navara's.
I've had L200's for over 4 years now and nothing major has gone wrong on either of them (fingers crossed ).
The problematic ones were from '04 - '05 plates - mainly overheating, head gasket issues and also EGR coolers.
A few new shape (55 plate on) have also overheated.

There's a thread on L200.org where a fleet manager has had 5 engine failures in different years! Lots of probs around but apparently less than Navara as you say.
I am a subscribing member and had no problems with mine! Till someone else thrashed it.
Mitsi have paid half to quite a lot of rebuilds

I think her problems were overheating.

He doesn't sound to be a normal driver and as he told you he was doing 85+ (could have tried to see how fast it'll go and thrashed the hell out of it) just after buying it then he's an idiot
I sold a Cupra a few years ago and after a few days the new owner told me it kept overheating on the motorway - turned out to be the water pump and as a goodwill i paid 1/2 (£150 towards pump/ cambelt) even though he said he thought the car was bloody fast when he had it flat out on the way home after picking it up?
I felt sorry for him even though he made out he'd thrashed it since he picked it up - i'll never make that mistake again
did you find out the problems today?
