Yes it has the plastic pulleys but checked it over and it seems ok!Do you mean the lugs the cam sensor reads on the back! None of them seem to be damaged or are you talking about something else?

Reading through this and you mention the fuel lines. Have you checked they are plumbed onto the engine correctly? Easy mistake to make.

could easy be.

but its best to check bit by bit, if all the plugs work/spark that rules out the timing
the next step would be the fueling.

as said before, make sure fuel lines are on around the right way..... Are the injectors all plugged in and working? Silyl question really.

I'm sure you can get some sort of fault codes from the ECU and then go from there, finding out what the CAR thinks is wrong is generally a good place to start

Ok cool i think i will change the crankshaft sprocket and cam shaft sprocket. Injectors are good as flooding the plugs.checked the coil wiring and all good. How do you read the ecu on a 96 import?i have read the topics on black plugs but cant see any behind my fuse box!!

Cheers Spen

Is the idle control valve plumbed in correctly?

Can you hold it to 2krpm but it always dies returning to idle? if so it could be this.
