Made my complaint

Fair enough, if they have an obligation to show religious programming on Easter Sunday, but what happened, did some TV executive turn up for work this morning, and have an "oh bugger" moment when they realised they'd forgotten to schedule some in?

Trouble is, the BBC have even less respect for MotoGP fans than they do for those of F1

Please tell me the ****** at Dorna are letting Eurosport broadcast live this year

Shouldn't the religious types be in church on Easter Sunday morning, not sat at home watching other people in church ? And given that religion, well, Christianity is about as popular as scurvy these days, shouldn't it have been relegated to BBC2 anyway ?

I had no idea you were so religious, admonishing them all like that.

So strong minded. You can always watch the replay anyway!

Let's face it, all it needed was a strong decision by the BBC. Either push religion onto BBC2, or F1, but to swap part way through is just plain daft. An on-screen message could have been periodically shown to inform anyone who doesn't have access to a schedule, although there are so many ways of finding out what's on now there really is no excuse

This really upset me. I was sitting there happily watching the F1 when they informed me of the bad news: I'd have to press a button on the controller to manually change the channel, halfway through the race. I didn't know what to do at first, but thankfully I pulled myself together to overcome my emotions in time for the switch-over.

Ideally the BBC would have sent someone round to press the button for me. That way there would have been no hastle whatsoever.

There really are some hard of thinking people on here. I'm surprised you can even use a computer, let alone the internet.

If I was watching the race live, I could have switched over easily. I wasn't watching it live, but on delay TV - effectively the same as a recording. Changing channels was not an option for those not watching it live.

I suppose all the football fans will be happy with a channel change in the middle of any world cup matches.....

I suppose, when you put it that way...

I'm not a fan of football, but could see people getting annoyed about that. They should have just started the F1 on BBC2, as you said earlier.

Hamilton overtook 8 cars on the first lap.

To say F1 has no overtaking needs to watch it more closely.

Wow, the faster cars start at the back so they overtake all the slower cars, great! How many times did the lead change? It was hardly Rossi v's Stoner at Laguna Seca was it!

Better than showing a bunch of adverts and missing that vital overtake that was coming for the last 3 laps...

Why not leave it on one channel for the entire race (bbc1 or 2)
Is that too much hard work for the kn0bs at the BBC.

And I wish that Joanthon Legard (or whatever his name is) would pish off and let someone with half a brain do the commentating.
He really annoys me when he starts shouting at the end of the final lap, I bet Brundle runs away when he does that.

Bring back Murray Walker I say!
