My desire is doing well!

I have had it for about 2 weeks, does everything I need with delivery reports on sms etc as I also send a lot of international texts also using Chompsms app for cheap international although I still have smsbug for cheap international on my old blackberry.

The main problem I have with the desire is I can not find a case!

Camera is excellent look at this nice brickwork that I took a photo of

Great news, glad you liked it, and it kinda suits your needs
Just got my replacement from Orange, and I am sooooo happy lol.

Look forward to hearing how it works out.

If your first impressions are good, once you get going, stick some apps, themes and get it customised a little you will be happy as a pig in the preverbial. Or bored lol.

I still love mine.

I haven't got my hands on a Desire yet (are there any actually out there?), but I am leaning towards the Blackberry as I think the Desire may be too like the iPhone and I don't need reminding of that particular nasty experience

I am on Orange and on my second iPhone which is better than the first (that one was clearly faulty .... well except to one poster on here of course ) but still not a patch on the Nokia 6300 or Broadband dongle that both have full strength all the time where I live whereas the iPhone drifts from full to low to offline in the middle of a call without me even moving an inch.

The Desire rocks

I just ordered one of these flexishield-skin a guy on Pistonheads got one and reckons its a good fit even though it has Nexus One on it. There are other cases on the site.

Looks good.

What is the camera like in low light?

I know it's no Nikon D3 but one would have expected the iPhoney camera to be much better than it is given the 'Holy Grail' status bestowed upon it by so many.

The HTC evo 4g is out later this month and it looks like the perfect all in one phone. HTC always have excellent call quality, an 8mp camera and 720 HD video recording and the latest android 2.1. I just checked the specs out and it looks like a great phone but my contract isn't due till august and I'm sure there will be an even better one out by then
