Sorry i may be abit late, ive had mine for 20 yr now from the RAF to present job as tanker driver delivering fuel (class 1).The very top tip that someone else said is use your mirrors loads, blind spot down side of your door, stop behind cars leave a good 10 ft incase they break down, observation well ahead (remember 40 ft trailer plus unit) hgv sighns weight limits heights limts. And drive steady and confident in your decisions, especialy on roundabouts with these fast subarus sticking like glue.
By the way good luck and job wise fuel distribution all the way,im 40 grand plus.i have full adr,but you will only need class 3 (flammables).Good Luck fella.

Another good tip, beyond seeing that you have five mirrors correctly set-up; is that if you have a camera keep the monitor turned on permanently, not just when youre reversing.
