insurance is going to be expensive, our area isnt the cheapest to insure these cars .. might just be my age, but i know im probably paying more than a lot of people on insurance but thats because its something i really want and enjoy.

That's not random vandalism. You have upset someone, have a think about it.

Chavs seeing the car and keyign it, maybe, even picking up a brick from near the house, possibly but to come with brake fluid means they planned it.

Insurance for sure. Happened to someone on SIDC board as well and the car we near written off.

Exactly my thoughts too. Looks like someone has gone to a lot of effort to do this. A bunch of them with bricks and brake fluid, definate revenge attack!

I hate car vandalism its so cowardly! Sneaking up in the middle of the night and smashing someones car, obviously face to face they wouldnt stand a chance! It causes so much hassle and heartache when it happens though.

Hope you get it all sorted, id be in a deep state of depression if that happened to mine.

wayne (rapid sti) is a good friend of mine and i can tell you now he has just had a new born baby with his long term girlfriend and has never been happier and also has not upset anyone, he keeps himself to himself and does not race about or annoy the neighbours so please do not insult him or try rub salt into the wound with conspiracy theories this was mindless jealous petty vandalism and nothing more

Commendable attitude to life you have there, but I reckon that has to be a notify the police and claim the insurance, especially if it needs a respray. Well if you have a young family that is all the more reason to be on your guard rapid, this seams more than just a random act of vandalism
I would start by asking a few questions of people in the area, and then get down to Maplins for CCTV.
