Tony that's a terrible situation your ex girlfriend had to endure. People like that should be used for target practice, you know it irks me no end when these c*nts pull stunts like this and shame everyone with a coloured skin. This is where corporal punishment and deportation would help.

Do I get to wear one of them blue forage caps now?

Einstein, I think its more the fact that those groups dont intergrate with the rest of the society around them, I have no problems with Blacks, Whites, Blues, Greens, etc, but I do have problems who think they can form their own communes, have their little empires and self rule and just naff off everything this country was built on, sounds bad but this is one of the reasons that support is growing for groups like the BNP, it will come to a head soon I think, it wont be nice either

Though anyone remember that black journo in birmingham? (oldish guy asking the asian community there about life etc, was a few years ago) and some jumped up kid saying that they would make the UK into the new Pakistan? now that grips me, if he wants that then he can go live there, this is lovely Great Britain though I think I may move to outer Scotland soon

Thank you sir.

Has anybody seen the Daily Show with Jon Stewart where he rips into these Revolution Muslim people? If not, here's the clip:

but this is first hand knowledge straight from the mouth of a male muslim. is that not evidence enough to acknowledge that the vast majority of women in muslim cultures are 2nd class citizens?

oh and BTW a subaru is an inanimate object. it has no knowledge about islam

Which kind of proves the point we were making that women are 2nd class citizens in the Muslim religion, or at least to some

loool Mate you find me a paragraph that is a fact to support your statement & i will present a essay. As mentioned above by BigSinky its first hand knowledge which should be taken with a pinch of salt. This does not mean all Muslim women are forced upon it.

Hey I asked you first you wont be able to find it as its not law, one of the points is that its forced upon "most" women as the interpretation is what the man thinks, not the woman.
I stay with a muslim woman half the time, very nice lass, her mum was a devout muslim, never use to wear the full burka (or in fact go for the full works), use to be very colourful tbh, of course use to wear the head garb, but if you want me to get the womans side of things I can do that for you? I could get a paragraph explaining why its not the norm, and that would pretty much stop you in your tracks

Keep the banter up, its good fun

I agree with what your saying but nevertheless you can not implement your previous statement on all Muslim womens. The fact is the Burqa is not forced upon a women it is her own choice to cover her self. Some may get forced into it however that is wrong! Have a read http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burqa if this dont help then i can pull out a few quotes from the Holy Qur'an.

Ok I'll duck on that last bit think we are on the same lines here, its not a traditional dress to be fully covered up, but there is a more conservative attitude about dress (ie not to be flaunting it ) though we both seem to agree that its not correct to have any form of dress code forced upon a woman, but those who (silly as it seems) want to go for the full monty, can pay their own way on the NHS when they get rickets

I think the whole thread is an appalling insight into the state of some peoples minds; what ever happening to 'live and let live' ?

I really hope the attitudes displayed here are not representative of the public at large, because if they are we really are in trouble!

I have watched this thread with great interest. It is a very sad fact of life in GB today, that this is indeed the attitude of people.
We seem to be a very angry nation at the mo'. All through hearsay
Some of the comments from the Muslim paticipants and the, how do I put it, Brits, are incredibly offensive.
I find the Burka most offensive, it is a vile piece of clothing and has no place in our Country and should be banned, with immediate effect. On the other hand, most Muslims do have a place in our Country and I welcome them, and most Muslims I have spoke too, do not have much time for the Burka, either.
I have been fortunate in my lifetime to meet many Muslims and the vast majority of them have been the most respectful, thoughtful, kind hearted people I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
When I gave birth to my Son, the restaurant we frequented sent me flowers and Champagne, they were Muslims.
This thread has really opened my eyes as to the thinking of what I would say, extreme minded people who are not prepared to "live and let live".
As long as we all respect each other and be grateful for what we have, lets just get along, eh. It's not hard

OK slightly off topic - regardless of colour I'd say it depends on what she look like.

A fatty wearing something a bit revealing is in my opinion a bit of a slag

Having had a long conversation with several muslims at a party in Dubai and whilst we put the world to right bhurkas came up in the conversation, from what i understand wearing of them is a lifestyle choice and not complusary. However, some women are pressured by husbands/male/female family members to wear them so not always through choice.

Religious nutters are often after publicity and hiding behind religion and twisting it to suit her needs - sounds familiar and all religions have their nutters and radicals. There are plenty of christian radicals who blame disasters on offences agianst their god.

Have a look at this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Ht5QDLw11U j

I believe in general that double standards are what really has angered people.

I was in Manchester recently and visited a certain shopping complex
There were security guys at the entrance and I personally witnessed the following

A young girl (with I assume her Mum) - clearly with a complex about her condition was trying to hide some form of disfigurement around the left of her face using the hood from her coat.
These two guards made her take the hood down
Withing seconds - and I mean seconds.
1 (I can only assume he was muslim - I'd hate to use the word "looked" at this stage) man and 2 women in bhurkas approached

Did security stop them - did they ****, they just let them on through however they clearly distressed the young girl prior
