Gorgeous. Looks good without the decals. I allways wanted one back in the day but ended up with a chrysler avenger 1.6, still fun but no way as cool as the mk1 mex. Nice work!

Ooh this thread reminds me of my MK11 Mexico i had, with a 2.1 Pinto engine fully lightened and balanced with a stage 2 head, weber twin 40's, bilstien adjustable suspension, solid prop, quick rack and sh1te brakes, it was fantastic fun till some lowlife scumbag stole it and completely trashed it.

unfortunaely it happens.
a mate of mine had his nicked from his garage, it was on axel stands with no wheels and no steering wheel, yet he seen it driving away from his house...
