I think anybody who is swinging over to the Lib Dems is mentally retarded.
I've still got my fingers crossed for a Conservative majority

I'm going with Conservative. Though it will be a complete waste of time. I live in the NE and the amount of people who blindly say "am voting Labour as we always have" astounds me. They obviously don't listen or read and just do what they are told or have been lead to believe for generations. Gormless lot.
Thankfully the youth of the NE seem to be breaking with tradition

Relax - conservatives will get in with overall majority, labour poor second and lib dems way behind.
Then we'll get the "we have now had a chance to look at the books and didn't realise things were this bad" scenario with VAT going up to 20% and basic rate to 24 - 25p.

Government borrowing is just a joke on an epic scale(although not a funny one).

Plus, i got my new car and big Plasma when VAT was 15% I'm done for a while.
Saved £800 on my 370Z. That you notice. But with the weekly shop (Buying for 1) I didn't.
So extra VAT means those that buy more, pay mnore. Better that than everyone be taxed on NI, where those that work hard pay for those that don't.

Theyre also going to have to have to have a clean record .
..and asylum seekers are going to be allowed to work , i spect that will grate even more with Mr Habgood
and nobody after 2010 , thats now right , is allowed in under the proposed shake up
...i can really see how this is going to encourage others to roll up

TBH I wouldn't mind so much VAT going up to 20%. Afterall unless you're buying something very expensive you don't really notice the difference.

We have to accept that tough times are ahead, whichever party gets elected. I accept this and have no real problem (as long as the correct election result is obtained), although it is an 'unknown' at this stage.
There is only 1 party I trust not to waste my taxes, so this makes my electoral decision easy.....................I really can't understand how anyone (except those whose votes have been bought by NL) can be undecided

More a case of "I don't trust any of them". They're all a bunch of self-serving gits. I'm surprised one of them didn't find Madeline McCann in the hope that it might win a few extra votes.

As stated Les Ken Clarke got it right in the last 3 years of their 18 year reign. The previous 15 were hardly textbook stuff as far as the economy was concerned.
It's a pity Cameron is stupid enough to be hung up about Clarke's pro Euro leanings as Clarke should be chancellor if they get elected tomorrow. Sadly that won't happen.

It is interesting that Flash is on record before NL was elected that if he was ever in such a position he would cancel every single Quango, instead of creating more of them as he has done.
