The candidates *agents* make a note of your voter id (or whatever it's called) so they can see who voted. Not sure what (other) use they make of the info. but it's nowt to do with them as they acknowledged when I asked them who they were ....

Lib/Lab is a disaster, Con/Dem is not ever so good but a very much better situation.
Amazing how little some people actually know.
I heard a twentyish year old girl at the market ask another stall holder what was meant by a hung parliament. The bloke said it meant that Gordon Brown could form another parliament. The answer from her was "who is Gordon Brown?"
She meant it too!

The conservatives only missed out on the majority by 10 seats. Due to this hung parliament it has even made the pound drop so its doing the country no good.

Well the last hung parliment was 1974, the tories lost out there and couldnt make a government so labour did, then labour get the blame for everything after that one (winter of discontent etc), oh well, think the lib dems will be making a mistake going with the tories, the scots aint forgiven maggie for the poll tax, even to this day, and the majority will be minimal with labour, probably see another election this year.

Are you saying that the Scots are paying Poll Tax at the moment then?
What kind of overall majority would NL have if they combined with the Lib Dems?

It is not that simple for the Lib-Lab, they are still short of the magic 326 they need so at least two other parties will need to join them.
Four parties running the country - this cannot be good for the country and Brown needs to stand down and not get in the way and let Camoron run with a Minority government at best or a Con-Dim at worse.
