Hold on, you can do documents and spreadsheets on it? Are they compatible with MS Office?
This could change my opinion!

Still think iPad2 will be the one I'll go for though.

"Pages" is the word processing package.

"Numbers" the spreadsheets.

Yes, when you save the choices are Pages, PDF and Office, in that order I think. Contrary to popular belief I'm not an idiot, I do mean it when I say it could replace my Macbook. I can't wait to try iMovie and Telnet.

Tried to buy one today but still no stock in stores unless you want the 64GB wi-fi + 3G.

Looks like I will have to order online and wait for delivery.

Just another comment to say pages will save and should open word documents. I would expect numbers to handle excel spreadsheets, bar macros of course

Well had another look round the other apple stockists in the area.

Each store had some in stock of various models......I could have had any model except the one I want, no one had any 32GB Wi-Fi + 3G's in stock!
