I got a nod of appreciation off a stickered up skyline the other week when i was in a supermarket car park - its nice when other people admire ure car

 

Always put my hand up to Scooby drivers in Derbyshire,with 99% returning the gesture,or waving first.When i first took a mate of mine for a spin in my Scoob,a nice blonde lady waved at me.My mate asked if i knew her.I said "No it's the car".He replied "I gotta get a Scoob".lol

 

Dont seem to see many scoobs but usually wave when I do see one.

Got a thumbs up off an m3 driver the other day which kind of surprised me.

and a for the white R35 GTR that i see round my way. my god that's an awesome looking piece of kit

 

I remember the weekend I picked up my 1st scoob 6 months ago I didn't know what was going on but after 3 different waves from other scooby drivers I realised I think it's pretty cool and always flash or wave.

i always wave and if i see any car i like i'll give them a thumbs up

learned a while back not to pass comment at lights though. told an rs6 driver his car was cool n his passenger tried to fight me needless to say i was confused n drove away. hahaha

thats the best game ever as you know they are going down the road wondering who it was, i do it every now and then when me and the misses are in a silly mood

but yes i always wave at fello impreza drivers aslong as i'm on the ball

 

I wave and get lots of waves back. It's such a habbit now I find if hard not to wave at Scoobs when I'm on foot or a passenger and also I once waved at a Scoob in Hope Valley whilst sitting on the front seat of the top deck of bus.

 

I always wave when I see a scooby unless the driver is a minger! lol x

I'm probably not the hottest female scooby driver, but it is odd to get waves/ nods from men who I don't know!! Mind you, blokes driving other cars don't wave so it is probably the car, not me they are looking at!

 

Used to do this back when I had an old style mini. Will be great to have it in Imprezas now

 

I drive a classic so only wave at classics although I did wave at a chap in a Sierra Cosworth t'other day

Love that this thread just got replied to after 9 years.... especially having just got my Scoob back on the road after a couple years.
Such a silly thing but honestly that wave makes owning a scoob feel that little more special. I have really missed it and really look forward to passing another scoob soon! I see so few Oxfordshire way!

 

Loving the thread revival, daaan saarf I always wave but get very few back, unfortunately quite a few scoobs have been picked up by chavs who dont understand / buy into the 'proper' scoob culture and ruin the cars to boot.
