yes mate i'm hoping to make next week.tbh i think you would prob be better with the gt30 for elvington as its only a small track.i dont think mine will be really suited for it, but its all good fun and as long as i'm there enjoying myself thats all i'm bothered about.will be good to meet you and have a look at this car of yours.
Good stuff Arf, yeah fitting and getting it all mapped is pushing it a bit so will stick with this for a few weeks more, it was quite laggy around there last time and needed revving like hell to stay on boost.
your car looks mint though bud, be good to see what it does next week, looking forward to it as long as weather stys ok.

well its been quite a while now since i bought the car and thought it was time for an update.firstly as most of you know its still running and thats the main thing for me,theres still a few little jobs i need to do on it to finally make it my ultimate car but its getting close now.i think eventually i will strip it out fully and fit a roll cage but for now as i still use it quite a bit i have just fitted the buckets, harnesses, removed the rear seats and tried to keep it looking pretty usable inside.any way heres a few updated pics for those who havnt seen it in a while.
something i never leave home without,is my trusty fire extinguisher
buckets and harnesses in.
battery relocated from boot to back of passenger seat to reduce the length of cable.
rear seats gone
got rid of the big bus wheel for a nice omp one with quick release boss, also a nice triple gauge dash pod with some white faced defis.
and finally for now,i took the car back to enginetuner last weekend to map it on methanol and fit anti lag and launch control.a big thankyou to alan jeffereys for being so hospitable and martyn jeffereys for the job he made of it.so heres the new power figure.
just hope its not pissing it down at the scooby shoutout tomorrow so i can see what she does on the quarter mile.
