Neither Blair nor Brown where exactly youthfull when they came to power, both experienced politicians and one the chancelloer for a while - still fecked it up!

It should not be about age or or sex or who looks best to the camera. It should be about representing Labours core values and relating and encouraging the voters, not more NL type spivs, liars and slick looking ****ehawks out to better themsleves and hand out great sounding soundbites like they are sweets.

Same does also apply to the Tories and is also why they did not win with an outright majority against such a weak and feeble NLabour party.

The 43-year old Blair became the youngest person to become Prime Minister since Lord Liverpool in 1812, at the age of 42. Cameron is six months younger.

Ain't wiki and wonderful thing or do you have all the NL chaps birthdays and ages stored in your head

Perhaps youthful should be relaced with experienced in business and life - real life.

I don't think Osborn and Cameron have had a job (outside politics) between them

obvioulsy I am not counting PR as a job

The influx of new MP's (apparently replacing Doctors/Teachers and Lawyers) are overwhelmingly management consultants and bankers -- so we are in good hands

not perfect -- but a start, it would be good to get some compliance managers in there as well, then we would really start to sort this sh1tstorm out

It depends on their real motives for becoming MP's.
