I think Owen Developments (?) have them too.

Plus a few other bits and pieces - RCM uprated oil pump and Cosworth kevlar timing belt which will be ordered next week.
I think I will get the exhaust and induction kit fitted first plus a remap and then get the rear brakes done around Christmas time.
To be honest quite a lot of people have said that the factory headers are the best of the lot, quite a few have fitted even the most expensive headers and they have gone back to the OE fitment.

Does the Spec C have an uprated oil pump or is it just good enough for purpose? My reasoning for changing it was as the timing belt is being changed that once the timing cover is off then it is a relatively quick and easy job to change at the same time.
As my Spec C is the motorsport model it does not have an exterior oil cooler so would it be worth installing one instead of spending on the oil pump? I have noticed that the oil temp is slightly higher than my S202 which did have an exterior oil cooler, not by much and this may also be in part to the warmer weather we seem to be blessed with for the 2 week summer we are in.
Thanks for the advice guys.

I can buy it through a 3rd party for £700 + VAT plus the cost of the fitting kit so it will come out at around £880.
It's not that bad when you compare it to some of the exhaust systems I have had fitted by a local exhaust manufacturer, ok I still need to get it fitted but it looks like it has exceptional quality (not that I would expect any less from RCM).

I'll be hopefully posting up some pics in the Gallery forum over the weekend.
I just want to tweak what is already there Rich, Bob has told me that the turbo is good and that really they only thing to change is the exhaust system, induction kit (as I already have it) and a remap.
I do fancy getting some AP 4 pots on the rear but not essential for now but it is planned for the future (or sooner if I find a bargain set).

Same one I had on mine also recommended by BR He also suggested the following all of which I had done:
RCM zorst, uprated actuator, uprated fuel pump, 3 port boost solenoid, RCM induction kit + a BR remap ... got me 375/375 which was nice
Enjoy, TX.

Depending age/model the Spec C's were fitted with either a 11mm or 12mm rotor oil pump. So both size pumps have high flow outputs over the non AVCS earlier Subaru's which run smaller 9mm & 10mm rotor pumps. So the standard pump is very good and depending on your current oil pressure it's probably not worth the upgrade other than running a higher pressure relief spring.
An oil cooler on a predominantly used road car isn't really need, as your oil temps shouldn't run high enough to cause any problems. Also with added flexi hoses and connections there is the increase risk of oil leaks. So I personally would not run one other than a factory fitted item.

This is the exhaust system recommended to me by Bob Rawle (who actually designed it for RCM).

I was going to give it a wash on Saturday afternoon and take it for a run down to the Preseli Mountains and take some shots at the top of the mountains (where I took the shots of the Hawkeye last summer) as the backdrop is so good.
Are you going on the run on the 13th? As there should be some good places to take some pics of the cars.

Cannon Fodder,
As already said, the oil cooler would only be a recommendation for track use imo, but I certainly don't agree with the OE system is the only one to run. If you fit an oil cooler, use proper connections and aeroquip and don't do it on the cheap. There is no reason why it should leak.
OE Spec C fuel pump is fine at your level..... certainly not worth changing. I was using the OE one at 480bhp with no issues what so ever.
Personally I wouldn't get an induction kit. It causes surge on twin scrolls, which is bad for the turbo and not very nice to drive. You can either ignore the surge or map round it. Either way it aint great and the extra few bhp at the top end is not worth it imo. Been there, tested it and reverted back to OE airbox. I also found an in-engine bay induction kit also has a negative affect on air temps..... again I tested this as well.
These cars (of your year) seriously only need a panel filter, decat exhaust, remap, actuator and three port boost solenoid.

A UK STI is not twin scroll though.
I would agree on the MY06 Spec C not requiring solenoid and actuator, hence why I said for Cannon Fodder (of your year), as his is an earlier one.
An induction kit works better on a non twin scroll, like the UK variant.
Terminator X,
I think Bob knows.

I picked up the Spec C tonight and I am over the moon with the car , it accelerates like rocket and handles like it is on rails.
I would just like to thank Richard for selling it to me and for having such a fantastic car.
I even stopped in on another member on the way home and took him out for a quick demonstration of the acceleration and handling.
Also thanks to Dylan for coming to view the car with me on Sunday.

Thanks I'll give them a call to discuss and see what fruity options are available.
