Getting a boner is fine... why wouldn't it be. Just make sure the ring is large enough to cope with the increase in size Mines 5mm thick in diameter and has a 22mm internal diameter, so 32mm in size overall.
The needle is pushed down your jap eye and pierces through the skin to come out either side of where your banjo string is Mines on the right hand side.

A friend of mine wanted her nipples and somewhere else
pierced for years and finally plucked up the courage.
