Canon Fodder ..... I'm not rubbishing the HatchBack at all ..... it is cheaply built, it isn't big enough in the boot for a can of beans, it isn't selling in any numbers, it flies against logic as a sensible buy (new or used) ... they are the facts.

Now, as you know, I love Subaru ... I have loved the Impreza ... it's simply had its day, it's an also-ran against the competition - and it's heartbreaking to witness (and to be a small part of it, as I am leaving Subaru for Honda)

But, to say that the STi's are holding their money depends on what you base that statement ..... if you are saying that they get buyers at £18,000 after 18 months of ownership, then yes they do ..... but that's not a good deal as a seller (not to me anyway) losing £10,000 in 18 months!

When they get to 5 years old they will be about £6,000 I am predicting. Remember that a Saloon version will be well established by then.
