In fairness they did make the black iPod nano only in black at the largest capacity aka most expensive, im sure they dropped that in the end though.
Clever marketing, or a con, you decide lol. Either way I still bought one for the missus

You get a allowence on your usage each month with your tariff all depends on what tariff. But if you looked in the first page on NSR there's a thread about it .

It used to be unlimited dat with no cap. But since the uptake of smartphones, like the iphone, BB etc has increased the stress on the already shaky carrier networks has meant that the expansion is not quick enough to cope. So they have decided to put a cap on the data and incorporated that into the new contracts. It is meant to only affect 3% of the users, the hoggers or abusers and so for the likes of normal users there will be little effect. (that is yet to be confirmed )
So as a BB user, you would probably not even notice the change but should you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of being in that 3%, then 02 and other carriers will charge you for the additional data usage . This is outlined on their websites but it ranges from £5-£10 per month

Jim, anything received GPRS or 3G, GSM services are part of the talk plan, (talk text) anything else is "chargable" data. Email, file transfers, streaming content, instant messaging etc is all part of the data bundles.
Ant, you know you love it really! I have saved space for puddin too lol

Apparently you can cut the size of your existing sim to that of a micro-sim since the actual chips on the sims have not changed and then use that sim. Theoretically if you're on an existing unlimited data plan for the iphone 3g/3gs (simplicity etc) you should still be able to stay on that plan with a resized sim in the iphone 4 until the provider changes the terms and conditions of said plan:

I'm sure o2 and the other will soon catch on though that you are using an iphone4g with a simplicity contract and do something about it.
Otherwise it would be much better for me to buy a network free iphone 4g, cut down my current sim or clone it to micros sim and use that.
£499 for the iphone 4g, sell my current iphone for £240 and then still only paying £20 a month for unlimited data and 600 mins talk time. So would only cost me £260 to change as opposed to signing up to a 24 month contract that would cost me another £15 a month (so £360) for the same talk time and limited data.

Thought about doing similar myself.

orange have announced their price plans for the iphone 4 (see here)
I can see ALOT of people migrating from all other carriers (mainly O2) to this down to the unlimited data useage only to find that in the small print the fair useage limit is 750Mb / month

Been a lot of activity on the forums and web concerning the fact that O2 have yet to announce the prices, nor have they allowed pre-ordering and so it looks like for all those users with O2 who want one, may be stuffed come release date. A lot of unhappy people prepared to jump ship it seems
