Surely the handset should be cheaper on a 24m tariff even though the per month rate is £5 cheaper?
So for the £35 I currently pay (albeit -30% with friends n family) I lose 200 mins a month but gain unlimited text. Not too bad as I never get near using 500mins.
Just need to see what Vodafone & Orange will offer now.

I do love, as with all phones and tariffs, the way they are structured always makes one look better than the other, til you read the small print and see how costs are offset etc.
Always irritates the hell out of me lol.
Looking forward to some genuine consumer reviews on the 4 to see if people really feel its a "new" phone and worthy of renewing a contract for.

lol I respect your view on it
However will still not be replacing my BB with one, regardless of how crap it is haha.
Like I say though, on a serious note, I will await the official Swiss review lol, the one that says if its ACTUALLY a step or a shuffle forwards

Have you seen the early prices to buy the new iphone outright, their are some crazy prices knocking around.
Their is no way that the new iphone is around £300 better than a HTC Desire, yeh the iphone does some nice things but apple know that they are the pied piper in all of this and all they have to do is to play a tune and a lot of iphone worshippers will follow regardless of whether the phone is worth the price or not.
Its like the "I have to have it regardless" syndrome.

Have a read, apparently it may well be possible for simplicity users to carry on with their current deal and transfer to a microsim. So I guess it's just a case of buying an unlocked iphone4 from apple which i'd rather do anyway.
