£180 for an early upgrade, plus the cost of the phone, think I'll pass this time.

With nine months left you may as well wait for the 5th gen.

Admit it, it's cooler than your iPhone

Also a heads up..When the iPhone first came to orange it was on the website with a "coming soon" message by it, and you could register your interest. A friend of mine did this, then when it came out he, like everyone else who registered an interest, received a 20% discount on the line rental.

Might be worth registering an interest on the orange web page if you're interested..?

It's a ver cool phone and I'll admit to holding it to my ear even when I didn't have a call.

Nice tip as well, I'll register.

I've registered interest with o2 and there sending me a mini sim.

I want to pre order mine asap but upto yet no one released prices.

My early upgrade is only £120 and the tariff I'm on mean I get the phone for "free"

That has been well documented for a while now. It uses a microsim and you may get one just for registering and yes you keep your number

How do you know it will be free if they haven't released prices yet?

Because of a number of reasons:

1. Vodafone leaked their prices and tariffs yesterday before pulling them off the website. Based on that, antc would see him getting a free iPhone on his current tariff if 02 follow suit

2. O2 no longer have the monopoly so expect them to try and match or follow very closely the pricing structure. After all, if they dont, then people will just leave them in droves.

i read what it says on the micro site and i registered straight away. that doesn't guarantee a micro sim being sent out.

no it does not, but then I registered for an Eon free energy monitor over a month ago on their website and still have not received mine, so nothing is guaranteed
