Northern Ireland is so fecked up its unreal.
I dont see how its right that McGuinness should be allowed to hold the office he does after the obvious evidence that he's had a huge part to play in killing the innocent people of Northern Ireland over the years. When has is been lawful to walk about with a sub machine gun? You try walking the street with and air rifle and see what happens. Whys he above the law?
I cant see why any members of British army should be prosecuted either peaceful march? My ****, it may have started that way but thats not how it finished. Throwing bricks, sticks and what ever they could get their hands on is hardly a peaceful demonstration. I wouldn't stand there and get pelted by petrol bombs and stones and not fire back and I doubt most others would either.
Our service men and women do a top class job, they should be allowed to do there job with out fear of prosecution after following orders.

Politics basically
Is not lawful to walk around with any form of weapon - but what you're refering to was during times of huge civil disruption - even war dare I say.
He is not above the law either.
I'd say with respect you do not know the whole story and nor does anyone else for that matter
Only those involved truely know what happened
The British army soldiers will not be prosecuted over this report - its not possible because there are too many variables and unknowns.
However if a soldier is found to have clearly acted on his own bat in any situation then he fully deserves to be held accountable.
And lets be honest here - that happens more often than it should in the heat of the moment

it was neither peaceful or legal at the time. It was an illegal march and the civil rights organisers knew this before they started marching.
