Hi mate. You still got the ECU? I take it the licence has already been paid for (in the 1st map)?

Are there any info/codes that are exclusive to that ECU, so I can try to find out from Bob if it has been EcuTek'd?

Is it still available? Does it have Whiteline droplinks attached? Steel or alloy?
Can you PM me a price and your location?
Thanks

It was mapped by Bob to his usual standards.

Your need a remap for running on another car of course, but the licenece fee is paid for.

Yes, cheers John. I PM'd Bob last night and he confirmed that he originally mapped it for you in 2007 - so licence paid for.

I've whipped it off dbrad for a decent £140 - nice one.

good stuff, dont be tempted to run this without a remap, it's got a very agresive boost profile which will kill your turbo and head gaskets with the stock setup.

Yes, Bob warned me of the aggressive map, etc.

It'll have to start from a mapper's (not sure who to use yet) EcuTek base map, and go from there. Still, only looking at an additional c.£300-350 (depending on mapper).

Both 22mm and still available, both have lost most of their paint. Rear is adjustable. Car was front end smack as per 1st page but the front ARB looks spot on and straight.

I'll have 'em!

They look like they have the WL all metal "wire" type drop link on both ARB's - will they be part of the deal too? i.e. still £65 for each ARB, complete with both pairs of drop links?

What paint is missing?

The droplinks on the front are standard STi5 balljointed items, the rears were standard STi5 nylon/rubber jobbies, only the front ARB is pictured (looks like one droplink is bent).

Just remove the paint and rust from the ARB's and repaint them, they will fuction and look like new. If you have a UK car you'll need to use UK style front droplinks, the STi droplinks connect to the alloy bottom wishbones in a different way.

Cheers John - it's fine as I have a STi v.5 myself

So the STi was fitted with metal/balljoint style DLs as std, and not those flexible rubber/plastic things, then? If so then I'll obviously have them myself.

Cool.

Yes, it has the balljointed fronts as standard.

There is nothing crap about the OEM back links, you pick up traction using them over the aftermarket kit, which i would only fit if doing track work.
