I have had those, usually though the moment passes and something annoys her, makes her sad, she eats too much or some other random factor causes the offer to be recinded, I have to play it careful when there is potential as farting, burping, eating spicy food, drinking too much, being rude, being lacivious, talking about money can all cause a "denial of service" so I pretty much have to sit there and not move as it basically rules out all my hobbies.
Coming upstairs too late can cause a dissapointment as well, its strange as usually I sit there waiting like a Dog under the table at teatime (waiting for scraps) but sometimes the shop gets closed early and if the light as gone off, no chance and apparently jamming a "loaded weapon" up against is a no no, as is saying "Can I have a go on your fanny" or "Ill be quick".
I am sure all blokes have these situations, still you can always have a grumpy **** by way of a consolation prize, and to spite her for her callous rebuttal you can always select some choice **** Bank footage of her mates or sister as inspiration.

I remember there being a competition on one of the radio stations whereby a woman had to call her husband at work and convince him to come home straight away. She could choose any reason she liked to get him home (except telling him it was a competition) and if he agreed then they won £500 or something or similar.
One woman called her husband about 11:00a.m, live on the show, and asked him to come home. He basically said 'what are you talking about woman, I'm at work, I can't come home', she eventually said that she was feeling horny and wanted him to come home and sort her out. Listening to the conversation I guess that was pretty rare because after a few mumbles and umms and arrs he said 'I'll...see what I can do...I'll be there in 10 minutes'.
Then the radio presenter jumped in and said 'congratulations you've just won £500'.
The bloke didn't sound that happy. I think he would of preferred her for real rather than the £500.
What would you do in those circumstances? I'm not sure I'd even bother with an excuse for the boss, just get home before she changed her mind.
