I may be being silly, but why do you need to keep resetting the ecu?. On a 2006 car, that is standard, it shouldnt be running badly atall. I have a 2006 sti, that prior to JGM mapping it, had the centre (resonated pipe) taken out and a new back box, but it didnt affect anything. Never had any 'holding back'. Its always been run on 'v' power/optimax so maybe sainsburys fuel is the problem?.
Also, would keep resetting the ecu cause any issues?
