from our meeting on thursday-

the day is a memorial day to remember the life and achievments of a great man

it's not a show or club day

cars will be parked up as they arrive, not in club groups or companies.
the only priority is to RB cars, they will have a separate area.

due to heath and safety and insurace purposes- no tents, gazebo's, bunting, banners leaflets or BBQ's. anyone not following these rules may be asked to leave.

i'm not going to argue about it. you did the mcrae gathering. we are doing the richard burns gathering.

I wish you all the best as he was indeed a true hero to many, i had the pleasure of meeting Richards father on Saturday at Goodwood and he is also indeed a true gentleman like his son.

london isn't far. people are coming from norway and possibly new zealand!

we could do with knowing before the day.

not sure about how to pay yet, in advance or on the day.

if people don't say they are coming, we might expect 6-700 people and over 1000 could turn up.

more people= more marshall's, speak to local businesses to use the car parks, we need to inform police on expected numbers too.

have a look on the tyne tees scoobies site.

they are coming from newcastle, down the A1. probably meet the sheffield scoobies and nottinghamshire scoobies at M1 jct 31

this is only a rough guess, no times yet. it took me 2 hours 20 mins from rotherham (70-80 mph, 140 miles) so probably leave jct 31 between 7.00-7.30,

the gathering starts at 10am
