Scoobynet shootout sounds good to me Any tasty machinery going to join us ?? Evo's ? Skylines ? (no 11 sec GTiR's allowed else I'm bringing my bike instead )
Are we racing for real ? ie including reaction times or just the quickest 1/4 time ? Prize for the best terminal speed too ?
Better go see if the auld thing still starts, you guys sound like you've been busy

Suits me, my R/T's suck I'm on low boost too, for reliability apparently
It's supposed to be better fun than racing
18 psi will do, or was that 1.8 bar ? mmm not sure about that gauge I'm using

Just seen on the Crail website that my old car is going to be there on Sunday sob sob
Quote -
On this Sunday 7th April at Crail Raceway we will see the return of "THE BEAST". For those not in the know it's a UVA FUGITIVE kit car with a Chevy 350 cubic inch block and also NOS. Last year it was on Wheelnuts and beat a Suzuki Hayabusa with a time of 9 seconds, its quite a site and is in black livery now and under the ownership of Allen Sivess.

Just a quickie...Whoever is meeting at the FRB on Sunday morning, if I'm not there on time, leave without me as Saturday night has taken on new importance to me, and I cannot see me being available early doors.
...John
Plus all this talk of shootout and who has the biggest gonads is making me scared.

Guys
Shall we say quickest ET of the day wins top scoobynet banana since none of our RT's are worth mentioning .Shouldnt be a problem for Mr low ratio's
BTW the AWD wagon will be there, Andy might run it on the 1/4.Its only had minor underbonnet tweeks, but more in the pipeline.
We'll leave the Beast to play with the bikes

Yes, same car. That was the only time it's been out the garage since he bought it !!
Sunday will be his first event with it, he's had it over a year !
The NOS bottle is on it but it's empty, I sold it with a full bottle but he had to empty it for safety reasons at the show
Dave/Pete - If you catch him on his first runs wi cold tyres you'll blow him wi the scoobs Just stay away later in the day once he gets used to it !

Sanders,
No prob bud (likewise, if u see any of us jus shout )
Dave,
ET sounds fair enough 2 me, at least that way I can take it gently off the line b4 blatting it Conserving both clutch and box (maybe). Clutch aint up 2 the job as it is without shock loading it
Andy,
Very weary of kit cars, like i said b4 m8 saw 1 cutting in2 the other lane on some poor sod on the 1/4 The car can be brilliant but if the driver`s crap it`s like puttin a silk hat on a pig m8
That said w8 n c might jus have a pop

Think it's 6 or 7 quid entry, then 10 or 15? for as many runs as you want after that
Yea, I'll be blaging a shot o the loud yin if possible, dribble dribble !
What do you think ? "Ooh you need to check that dodgy wheel from behind as it launches" or "Sounds like it's running on 7 ??? listen while I run it" mmm nah, need something better than that to prize it off him
Maybe - How come that white/red (delete as appropriate) scooby thrashed you ?

I've got my excuse book ready for why it's now slower than it was
I'd better take a set o plugs along as it's only been run in the garage (to show the neighbours) for the last year ! Well fouled up I'm guessing.
It should still run mid - high 10's even with all the extra weight he's added and no NOS. Circuit racing slicks he's got on it now though, they'll take a bit heating up.
I had a pair of wrinkle wall road legal drag tyres on it, mega launch grip even from stone cold using only 8 psi in them Couldn't even think about moving the steering wheel till below 30 mph though

It's official I'm taking the Saxo to Crail! Only problem is I don't know where it is or what the format is when you get there. Would you scooby owners mind if I meet you at the FRB McDonalds and tail you there?

Pete,
Got a mate coming from wayyyy down South (dont hold it against him, not his fault ) and he's bringing his Phase II Calibra. Was rolling roaded at around 290BHP and 330lb/ft, be good to see how it compares to a good decent Scoob......
Up for it if it happens ??
