Not gonna scrimp on stuff for the burn and have had offers off a couple of friends with recent newborns fir stuff they don't need in good nick etc. Just gonna be frugal with our resources as we don't have the luxury of well paid jobs yet. I think having a pair of loving parents and help from our large families is mire important.
It's always good to take whatever people willboffer if you need it. Especially ad one day you might not have the choice, and then people stop offering.

I wanted to get all new stuff for my son, but wish I had accepted the offers of a play mat, or a bag of clothes. He was sick ALL the time!

A baby can cost as little or as much as you like.

@COB - you will find you get offers of help and amazing generosity from all sorts of unexpected angles. There have been several people who I know nothing about other than their first names, who have turned up at our house with little bags of useful stuff for the kids. People just seem to want to contribute and be a part of the experience.

Send them down the mines at 3 and they start paying for themselves after the first 5 years. Or is that against the law outside Cornwall

Congrats to you both mate-I'm not going to be the one that make preggers jokes in connection with your recent press exposure-I'll leave that to the wittier members on here.
As I may of said mine are 16 and 22 and they still never fail to amuse/amaze/frustrate the living **** out of me-will be the best thing you ever did
Perhaps you should start a baby fund by selling new mixes of your original non copyrighted material into a dedicated paypal acct.I'm sure a few on here would be happy with some new tunes(hint lol) pm me with details if I've missed owt
Again all the best to you and Nat and enjoy the new ***** while they last
cheers richie

Haha, ***** are growing already Nat said this morning. I'll have a little fondle later and give her my unbiased "medical" opinion

We bought 2 more tests yesterday and one came back positive last night. She wants to do the other later as she still doesn't quite believe she is pregnant.

Told her, I have my flaws but my sperm is super concentrated - like the Asda cordial you can buy

Managed to get our first bargain off Nats mate who has a little lad.

Somthing similar to one of these...
http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare...61031&mcb=core

Her mate wanted nothing for it either and came with a spare clean nappy and all the bedding Hardly used as she has a "big" baby

Nice one, I never had one as they can only be used up to aprox six months, and like your mate found out, if you have a bigish baby, or one that sirs quite early, they just don't get the use.

Do you know how you are going to get it up/down stairs? Or do you plan to have a moses basket also?

Yeah, she'll probably want one of them too.

What are they for Baby sleeps in the rocking crib thing upstairs, understood that. The basket for transportational purposes? No sexist jokes, I'm genuinely learning from scratch here
