Well Swiss was 'moaning' and he owns one. Aren't stupid sweeping generalisations in either direction silly?

Your definition of trolling is posting something that disagrees with your opinion which is formed as far as I can see from a mixture of blinkered bias and lack of ability to think for yourself.
I don't know why you and a few others on here feel the need to be so abusive, it just makes you look like a sad little keyboard warrior.
Still, if it enhances your life then you carry on

It's the fact he went out his way to prove me wrong, pathetic .
Yeah you're not trolling silly me!
The fact remains you didn't have a opinion yet a link to show in the end swiss want moaning about as it was down to his signal at his house.

1. I always have it in a case, not because of trying to alleviate the signal issue but to protect it from scratches and in case I drop it
2. The signal issue can be forced by gripping it tightly but that never happens and it is so rare that it never bothers me
3. The features that set it apart from the 3G model more than make up for any small issues
However, the straight to voicemail problem is a tad annoying but that is a fault of 02 and not the handset
And if Apple dont do a recall, how will you look

Picked up mine on Wednesday Pete. Had to wait till last night to activate as I travel a lot. Good portable comms are therefore very important to me.
Its the best all round communications device i've owned or used. And one that over time will cost me next to nothing as I'll be able to sell it on for a decent price a couple of years down the line.
If there is a recall, I'll head along to the Apple store where the well trained and knowledgeable staff will probably just swap mine for a newer version. If there isn't I couldn't care cos for me there is no problem whatsoever.
Thats the fact of it. So why don't you just f'uck off back to your sad little existence and let the rest of us get on with life?

Bit disappointed in you pete. I know you like to run the 'extreme' view on various topics and enjoy the role of 'harbinger of doom' on here, but to allow yourself open to rumours and speculation without any shred of evidence is..well a bit below you.
They will not recall the iPhone, there is no need to. Worst case scenario they will update the software to ease the issue and offer free bumpers. End of.
And to be honest, most iphone 4 users (of which I assume you are not one of them) are not bothered.

So Pete decides to slate the iPhone, and gets mocked for it.
Yet the Iphone fanboys are equally as vociferous in their collective defence.
And yet they dont like being called fanboy wanchors.
Pete however takes it like a man.

Sometimes considered, intelligent and polite responses just don't quite hit the mark
To be honest mate, I've shown up pete so many times in the past, called him out time and time again only for him to runoff with his tail between his legs never to return to a thread (the evidence is there for all to see) that its quicker and easier to just to be direct and to the point

Everyone gets a free case. If you bought one - the case - you get a full refund.
Isn't that nice of Apple. Especially after all the data they've just presented.

I only suck Lemons when I'm wrong Mart. If I was I would gladly sacrifice a Gin and Tonic for a picture and a good laugh.
The Apple website will be updated next week, you can apply for your case there. Apparently they can't make enough Bumpers so you'll get a choice.

I think it is shocking that such a high profile company can release a sub-standard product regardless of how popular it is, yet there are waiting lists? The fanboys are mental. I reckon if Steve Jobs stuck an apple sticker on his morning scheiser and sold it for $499 there'd be a waiting list for them too...
