If you were having a discussion with a mate in the pub and some idiot kept butting in with inane drivel, I'm guessing you'd pull up a stool and buy him a drink, where-as I would politely tell him to f**k off - if that makes me a fool then so be it! ...
And as for you finding somebody acting like an irritating child "amazing" ... i'd suggest you're very easily pleased! Which must be nice for you!!

I think you will find that for many he is a figure they love to hate
As for your pub analogy I wouldn't know as I only trend to drink in places where the great unwashed can't get into and couldn't afford a drink if they could. On the whole I hate pubs as they tend to be full of ********* and there is no way of ignoring them... which aptly brings me to my next point
You will find if you look hard enough that you have an ignore function at your disposal so if you find Pete so annoying that you feel the need to keep telling us all why not STFU and use the ignore function instead, there's a good chap.

The only frustration is that what was once an entertaining "interaction" is now like shooting fish in a barrel
The fact that when challenged he ducks the issue, runs and hides. That's why his input has no value. Now if he was to stand and fight, metaphorically, put up some sort of challenge, now that would add some sort of value to this place. In the way of Nacro, or even Ajm. "Proper" pains in the **** that could deliver "challengeing" interaction - not some wannabe troll
Its like Pete has regressed intellectually and emotionally since his ban was lifted (although I'm not sure that is atually possible

"Full value" - don't make me laugh Les. I know full well that PSL's comments are taking the proverbial, but in doing so he has an irritating habit of ruining interesting debates and discussions. I think you would do well to "wake up" yourself. I find it strange that someone can get so wound up over a bit of **** taking (I am not good with numbers), all the people I knew in the Service were used to it and found it a bit of a laugh and could also give as good as they got. Whingeing the way you are doing is pretty pathetic really. It is so much easier just to join in fact. Admittedly he does have a sharp turn of wit so you might have to work at it a bit to keep up.
