You've probably answered your own question there. If your Apexi was programmed before you fitted the CAI, its air/fuel mix is going to be way off now because of the different amount of air coming into the intake. You'll have to get the fuel map adjusted, or go back to the original airbox like you said.

No, it's been mapped with the induction kit, but I had a cold air feed fitted about two weeks ago, i'm sure that's when it started playing up, so I'm tempted to go back to the standard airbox

did you change the water temp sensor as i may try that oh and do let me now what the old mapper say about and by the way whop is mapping it dude

yes, it probably didn't even need doing, my mapper is Jolly green monster
