Its in very good condition and the performance blows me away as I've never owned a car even near as powerful

Now to be honest, I don't know to much about the car, so I'm hopefully here to learn.

It has full stainless stell exhaust, panel filter, equal length headers and the boost has been upped to 1 bar. I was told it should be running about 330 bhp, but no proof of this, what do you think?

What would I need to do if i wanted to turn the boost up, I noticed it goes upto 2 ? If you were me and you wanted more performance what would be the next thing you would do engine wise ?

I would like a dump valve but I've read a few posts from people who don't rate them, why is this? If I was to get one which would be recommended ?

Sorry for the big long blether but I'd appriciate some input.

Thanks
Looks like a nice car. Good luck with it.
Find someone who genuinely knows about Subarus and who will give you unbiased advice as opposed to making money out of you just by selling you whatever takes your fancy.
Enjoy the car for a short while before you spend any money and learn more about the cars before coming to any decisions.
Very unlikely to be 330 bhp unless it has been on a very favourable rolling road. Why not get the car rolling roaded as a first step and you can then see the benefits of whatever you decide to do. However you need to choose a rolling road that is consistent. Don't be disappointed. It is how it feels to you on the road that counts.
I noticed it goes upto 2 ?
Do you mean 2 bar???
Leave it alone. You do not know what you are playing with and get it wrong and run the engine weak and it will end in tears, new engine required and all that.
It is important you get someone with wideband lambda equipment to check it over and logging the boost and AFR is usually part of a rolling road power run. Once you have that under your belt you can start looking at performance mods.
Dump valves do not add power to your engine regardless of what anyone tries to tell you/sell you. Some of them do make a noise and if that floats your boat, your money and your choice. In my experience some of these like Blitz, APS and HKS cause all sorts of hassle during mapping.
Your headlights are H4 with a twin filament bulb. If the reflectors are OK consider uprating them with better quality bulbs such as Phillips Rally 100W. HIDs will greatly improve dipped beam and if you are not going to leave Jute City that is probably OK but the full beam on every HID I have tested has lacked focus and therefore is poor for long distance cross country driving. Phillips Rally are about £22 a set.
